Hi! My name is Chris Jalkson, working at Rainshadow as Culinary Arts Coordinator / Instructor. I'm happy and proud to be part of the school and sharing all my ideas and knowledge I have for all the students. I am a Licensed Food Service Manager and Food Safety, Certified Food Protection Manager, ServSafe Manager Certified, Etc. Here's a bit introduction about the course. Culinary Arts is a course designed to introduce students to fundamental food preparation terms, concepts, and methods in Culinary Arts where laboratory practice will parallel class work. Fundamental techniques, skills, and terminology are covered and mastered with an emphasis on basic kitchen and dining room safety, sanitation, equipment maintenance and operation procedures. Also provides an overview of the professionalism in the culinary industry and career opportunities leading into a career pathway to Culinary Arts. I expect everybody, every students to participate in my class and follow all the Rules and Regulations of the school and so as in my class specially inside the kitchen. Listen very carefully and attentively as this course will give a big opportunity to everyone in Food and Beverage Industry in the future. Expect more fun and learning in my class.
